Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actor since the late 1980s. In the film and television industry, she's known for her nominations and awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and raised by an aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. When Bassett was around five She and her sister moved into St. Petersburg, Florida where they lived with their mother who had divorced from their father. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in highschool and realized that it was acting she would like to be doing. Following her graduation of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in 1980, with a Bachelor's Degree of African American Studies, she was able to obtain a Master's Degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she was married Courtney B. Vance who was also an actor. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama granted the degree of Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda for the action movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
